I am delighted to post that I’m reading at the Hay festival this year, on Sunday 6th June. It’s part of an event based around ‘coming of age’ novels, and I’ll be reading with Stephen May, author of Tag (Cinnamon Press), and Elaine Walker, author of The Horses (Cinnamon Press).
It starts at 11am in the Welsh Literature marquee on the main festival site, and best of all, it’s free entry. I hope to see you there!
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I’ll be reading at the Leaf Magazine launch on 27th April. More details from Leaf are below…
The launch party will take place on Tuesday April 27th 2010 at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff – make sure you’re there to celebrate the beginnings of this exciting new writers’ resource!
Starting at 7.30pm on the Glanfa Stage, the launch will include lively performances and talks from Jasper Fforde, Simone Mansell Broome and Holly Howitt, who are all included in the first issue. Leaf Books will also be announcing the winners of their Wales themed writing competition, to be published in an anthology later this year.
There’ll also be chance to mingle and meet with other writers and literary enthusiasts and to meet the Leaf Team. It’s free to get in, so hopefully we’ll see you there.
